The CranioDental Paradigm Workshop

- Course directors, Dr George Stylian and Dr Nader Malik are running the popular CranioDental Paradigm workshop once again. This is a cutting-edge two day weekend course for dentists, osteopaths, and allied health professionals looking to enhance both their knowledge and practical skills to treat their patients in the cranio-dental field.
- The weekend workshop is a combination of lectures, case studies and hands-on practical sessions to teach you the essential tools to assess, diagnose, and manage your patients that require a multi-disciplinary approach of treatment.

The theory topics to be covered will include:
1. The gaps between the dental and osteopathic professions
2. A standardised approach for a complete patient examination.
3. Non-dental causes of toothache (the symptoms and causes)
4. Temporomandibular disorders (Updated dental prespectives)
5. A protocol for assessment and management of tongue-ties.

The practical sessions that will be demonstrated will include:
1. The complete patient cranio-dental assessment (for osteopaths, dentists and allied health professionals)
2. Clinical patients tests and referrals to create a patient triage care plan.
3. Fascial, ligamental and ganglion release techniques to treat non-dental causes of tooth pain.
4. How to assess tongue ties and to classify them
5. Tongue-tie therapy: A review of the surgical and non-surgical treatments.
